Thank you to every new and familiar face that joined me for a taster session of Yin Yoga. It was an honour to guide you into gentle rest, restoration, curiosity and spaciousness.
Whatever reason you chose to attend was a good one. I hope you will join me for more juicy sessions.
I am pleased to share that my Term 4 Wholeness Program is now set for Brooklyn Community Hall.
Classes are $16* a session and $8 for Concession. Concession covers seniors, students, unwaged and anyone experiencing financial hardship.
Yin Yoga, like any good thing is best practiced consistently. Practicing often will guarantee needle moving change and healing. I have experienced all kinds of this for myself and seen miracles in my classes from regular Yin practitioners.
Remember ~ Yin is the balance to Yang. Yang is sweaty exercise, busy lifestyles, power, building, growing, going-going-going. Yin is slow and steady, quiet, internal, soft, cultivating, repairing, enjoying-enjoying-enjoying. You need both!
Here are 10 reasons to make time for Yin Yoga if you need more convincing. From:
> Yoga Journal – a great resource for general yogi interests and holistic wellness
> Grace Tempany – a brilliant Functional Yoga Teacher Trainer, Educator and Psychoanalyst in training.
Spread the wonderful practice of Yin Yoga and forward this on to a loved one, colleague, neighbour or friend. Perhaps gift someone a session.
I look forward to another wonderful practice with you🧘♀️✨
PS – on Sunday October 19 I will be guiding a 2.5 hour mini-retreat. Yin Yoga & Soundbathing at The Healing Garden Williamstown. Delicious! Book here.

Love and gratitude,
Hong
