Hello friends 👋What’s occurring?
World War 3, I guess.
🍂 Happy Autumnal Equinox!
🔭 Happy Astrological New Year!
🐏 Happy Aries Season!
📆 Bye Bye Q1!
I write to you this month topsy turvy. Happy, sluggish, grateful, stuck, and hopeful – many feelings bumping around together in a washing machine. Currently nursing a cold 🤧…

I also wear a collective exhaustion, despair, loneliness and a waning of spirit. A question for you in these increasingly unjust times – what really matters?
The systems we are governed by are not exactly working for us very well – would you agree? Can you feel it in your body? Has it had enough?
I’ve been leaning into make-believe more than usual. Scheming and dreaming with friends on how we can make a difference in the spaces we participate in. I personally believe if you can imagine it. It’s possible.
Whatever your heart longs for, why not try it on for size. Nothing is forever, so we have to have more fun and be silly!!
Not sure what your heart longs for? Slow down. Be bored. Contemplate on a patch of grass. Get quiet and like magic, you will know. First answer coming from the body is the right one. Don’t second guess yourself.
🔮 Why force insight? Let it arrive.
Take a day off. A week off. A month off. Toss productivity for productivity’s sake in the bin. You are simply more important than all of it. Less doing. More being.
This month in the Yiniverse:
#1. The Healing Garden No Longer.
I’m sad to share that The Healing Garden is closing end of April. Classes with me will continue as usual until Friday the 24th of April.
I will be moving to Think.Focus.Act. A sweet little Yoga & Community Studio nestled in the quiet suburban streets of Newport. 33 Challis Street!
Until then, I would love so much to see you all make the most of The Healing Garden in it’s last month. Double down on Yin (or other things) together for some potent bioelectric alchemy.
To all who have Class Packs and worried about not being able to attend any of my other locations please get in touch.

#2. Truth As A Frequency.
Truth to me is not something you are told. It’s something you feel.
We are enveloped in endless information, edited realities, AI generated everything and constant noise. Distortion at every angle. It’s increasingly hard to trust what you are seeing or hearing… but I know the body can feel truth.
When our nervous system is flooded, fragmented, overstimulated or seeking validation – our signal weakens.
In Yin, we are cultivating trust in the body’s intelligence. You experience all kinds of sensation and signals up close. With practice you will notice this outside of a Yin Class. Intuition, self-belief and self-trust starts to leak into your actions. The nervous system strengthens too. It becomes easier to sense what is, and is not coherent. An integrated nervous system is one that works in real time. A very fine-tuned guiding compass.
Oh the sweet and subtle path to embodiment and integration ✨ Learn to trust yourself more and more. Acting on your own discernment is everything right now.
#3. Proper hydration.
A reminder that the effort and magic in class doesn’t end there. Dehydrated and calcified tissues, in particular – fascia – is unhelpful! When it becomes hard, sticky and cannot easily change structure, it loses it ability to send and receive signals at the speed of light.
Fascia is a sensory organ. It’s bioacoustic, meaning is receives, transmits and produces sound. It is also piezoelectric; creating electricity under pressure. We are like quartz crystals 💎✨hehe
So keep your tissues nice and hydrated with water from good quality food, filtered-activated-remineralised water, sea moss gels and sprinkle diatomaceous earth into your liquid foods. Past notes here & here & some wisdom from an Ayurvedic perspective here.
IMPORTANT – you are the best witness of your patterns. Go slow with any changes and pay attention. For example – you may read that X amount of water a day is what you need to be healthy. Yet, you already have clear urine and have good blood chemistry labs from drinking less than X. Trust what you see and feel.
Your body’s positive feedback takes priority over any “health should” or generalised health data.
#4. The science will lag.
This isn’t new. It’s just how things are. When cool/strange stuff happens scientists and others come poking around to know more. Or medical bodies and profit based systems block progress – more on that another day.
There is so much we are still learning about the human body. The more we learn the more we realise we don’t know.
One common thread for me is that holistic treatment trumps isolated treatment. We are metaphysical beings and should be treated as such.
Here are my current favourite healers that are shattering what we know in the best way. Original protocols carved from lived experience, a tonne of research of their own and deep trust in their intuition and process. When others don’t see value – therefore ‘profit’ in your work – self-funding is heroic in my opinion. I’ve picked 4 of my faves on the theme of fascia:
1) Hyperarch Fascia Training developed by Coach Chong Xie. Which recently helped strawweight UFC fighter Zhang Weili reach World Champ status! Coach Chong Xie’s protocol is 13 years in the making. Specialising in corrective exercise, performance coaching and fascia dissection experience. Very good interview here.
2) The Whitten Method will blow your mind. Dr Whitten’s work seeks to return us to low-tech healing. No gadgets, computers, or machines other than our own hands and our ability to trust our muscle testing guidance. An applied technique to correct structural, biochemical, and energetic imbalances. 33 years in the making. Dr Whitten hopes to one day have his own university to impart his life’s work before he dies. I cannot put it into words his fascinating and amalgamated genius 🤣. See very good interview here.
3) Human Garage. For those of you new to my space, I am currently training to be a Fascial Maneuvers Coach! Fascia might be the missing piece to everything we know so far on human health. It connects our physical bodies to the metaphysical and it seems to me we have only discovered the tip of the iceberg. Facial Maneuvers specifically 6 years in the making, but from 20 years of cultivation. A Human Garage Experience Channel here featuring interviews with all kinds of greats – Episode 1 with Dr Zach Bush is excellent.
4) The Grace Tempany Method. Grace’s work was first introduced to me in my Yin Yoga Teacher Training. Her work, her words tickle my soul and resonates deeply. Like I am cut from the same cloth! I hope to train in Functional Yoga Integrated with her one day. Oh how Yin feels like my life’s purpose, and that it arrived right on time…

#5. Sunday Slowdowns @ Ormond College.
I recently had the honour of sharing some Yin Yoga with student residents and staff alongside Lisa Leong – Radio Presenter, Author, Facilitator and currently a Fellow in Residence @ Ormond College. Lisa is the divine being behind Sunday Slowdowns. A weekly evening session she hosts in the College Chapel, creating a cozy space for students and teachers to experience the wonders of slowing down. A real wonder in today’s world. Experimental and open to student suggestion, each week is something a little different. I’ll be here once a month! 🧡

#6. Astrologers, Human Design Readers, Starseeds and Lightworkers.
We approach an epoch of incredible change at superspeed. Paradigms are shifting as a New World Order takes shape. I can feel it weigh heavy in my whole body. Have you been feeling absolutely existentially exhausted?
Neutrinos stream through us at all times, we are directly and constantly imprinted with cosmic information. There is a reason that there are generational patterns and easily defined eras. This next era is a transformational period in human consciousness. It will be more apparent in 2027.
In Human Design (which superimposes quantum physics, the Chinese I-Ching, Astrology and Judaic Kabbalah) 2027 marks a pivotal moment that signals the conclusion of a 411 year cycle (1615-2027) and the dawn of a new era. This transition will embody a fundamental shift in collective human experience and consciousness. The new cycle supports individual sovereignty, self-reliance and authenticity.
So in these times of great dissolving the occult is highly useful. It reconnects us to tools that can help make sense of what we are collectively & individualy experiencing.
Pop astrology and the like however are super generalised for convenience and digestibility. There is nuance and complexity. You will quickly find this if you embark on learning it!
If you are interested, it’s worth the effort of asking around. There is an alchemy in readings that is so potent when deciphered by a human, a soul. AI will lack the felt sense and magic of intuition and relating.
Need a wee bit of guidance? A touch point, a sounding board or someone in your corner to help you thrive?
Have some fun and explore my current faves. Come cynical. It makes it all the more mind-blowing!
Welcome back in the esoteric and supernatural 🧙♀️🧝♀️🧚♀️

All classes run as normal over Easter. Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday ❤️
See you on the mat,

Yin Yoga, like any good thing is best practiced consistently. Practicing often will guarantee needle moving positive change and healing.
Remember ~ Yin is the balance to Yang. Yang is sweaty exercise, busy lifestyles, power, building, growing, going-going-going. Yin is slow and steady, quiet, internal, softness, cultivating, repairing, enjoying-enjoying-enjoying. You need both!
Spread the wonderful practice of Yin Yoga and forward this on to a loved one, colleague, neighbour or friend. 🧘♀️✨
