Get ready to nourish your cells!
Mats are provided, but you are most welcome to bring your own.
Wear anything you will feel comfortable in, we will be stretching and draping ourselves into various shapes. Bring a jumper or something snuggly to throw on for savasana (corpse pose!), also an eye pillow if you have one.
For morning sessions, it is completely fine to come with a belly full of breakfast as well as an empty stomach. Unless your digestion type is indirect light in Human Design – it which case you will do well to eat very light for breakfast or come with an empty belly!
Doors open 15 mins before class begins so come in early if you have any questions, would like to chat or settle in with a cup of tea and quiet time.
To support and enhance your early Yin practice:
– have plenty of hydrating drinks, electrolytes, tea, broth, miso etcetera to nourish and hydrate your cells. Before and after class.
– hot water, lemon & celtic sea salt is excellent and yummy!
– journaling after class if you had some great ideas, realisations, musings, anything that might not make sense in the moment but caught your attention
– consistency. Aim to do 60 mins of Yin every week (can be broken up over days) for maintenance. Or gift yourself with 3-4 sessions a week to REALLY MOVE THE NEEDLE! Your mind, body and spirit is guaranteed to shimmer and glow a anew.
